"Happy International Women's Day!! Today means SO many things for SO many different people. Equality, appreciation, empowerment...the list goes on and on. Focusing on the naturist side of things, I personally want to start with my wife, who encourages and supports both of us in this lifestyle. As far as female advocates for nudism/naturism go, we can look to the south at women like Shirley Mason, the founder and protector of Haulover Beach in Florida. More locally, we have our very own Judy Williams in Vancouver who is a powerful advocate for naturism in general, and moreso for Canada's very own Wreck Beach! While not exactly a "naturist", Gwen Jacobs still caused a huge movement with her fight for topfreedom in our country. There are countless other women in our lives and in this lifestyle that have changed the face of not just naturism, but our world. The list is far too long to comprehend, but to each and every one of you, thank you! Thank you for being strong, being who you are, and just being.
